I expect a lot more of these in the coming months. That much power will make a lot of people act real dumb

Sure enough.

That's liter-bike fast. Stuff comes up on you lots faster than you're used to. I can only imagine the 50-150 run with that beast.

And this is why I'd set the power restrictor for the first few hundred miles if I somehow got one. I couldn't trust my right foot.

Please explain the hour rule from the other post?

And this is perhaps like GT3 and GT2 owners who have never driven a 911 before. As I've said - anyone should be able to buy any car they want. However, what is the manufacturer's duty to warn? I remember Clarkson reading a letter from Mercedes warning new owners of the Black that you had to warm it up and that it was difficult to drive. What should happen in such cases?

The "hour rule" is what some people like to do when there hasn't been a post in the last hour. It is NOT official, yet people just do it.

Quick! Get me that motor!

I'll give you $8k for it if you can deliver it tomorrow. My shop will get pissed because the 5.7L is nearly all back together, but fuck it, HELLCAT MY WAGON!

Theyre selling 700hp cars to anyone who walks into a dodge dealership with a drivers license and a couple grand for a down payment. What did they think was gonna happen?

generally it's just a picture of a car but it could be anything they wanted.

It is very far from liter-bike-fast. That being said, it's also on really skinny rear rubber, like 245 or something like that. Way too much power, not enough tire.

No, it's not literbike fast. Only Koenigseggs approach bikes in 0-150 acceleration. That still doesn't mean it's not 3x more power than 90% of people can handle, or be trusted with.

Skinny tires means easier burn outs. And, don't forget, better gas mileage. That's why people get hellcats right?

Welp, from a dead stop, with barely enough traction, the Hellcat runs a high ten.

Liter bikes run mid tens.

On a roll on, from about 50, a liter bike is gunna have a tough time with a Hellcat.

I've seen a new GT500 run a tach'ed out liter bike from highway speeds all the way to scary fast.

Facts.

Not 'far from liter bike' fast.
